The state capital’s historic centre shines in new splendour. Great names stand for the rebuilt city castle such as W. v. Knobelsdorff or the architect, Peter Kulka from Dresden. The new Baroque-style building is very impressive. Simplicity meets modernity. The building hosts the state parliament of Brandenburg. The city walk informs about the reconstruction of the Garrison Church, newly opened Museum Barberini at the Old Market and the New Market.
